Avada, sliders, four H1s

Why the pretty homepage loses

WordPress is fine. The builder stack is usually the problem. A slider, a stacked section library, and four H1s from the theme is how a practice spends eight thousand dollars and still cannot tell Google which page is the pellet consult.

Keep the CMS

Most of these sites can stay on WordPress. Migrating for its own sake throws away logins, forms, and equity.

Kill the slider

It is never the LCP you wanted. It is three megabytes and a headline nobody can index as the H1.

One H1, real headings

If the builder emits H1s for every row, crawlers see a pile, not a page. Title and H1 have to match the job of that URL.

Then the glass

Mobile-first, readable type, a form that does not leak PHI. Theme is last. See HIPAA forms.

Builder questions

Do we have to leave WordPress?

Usually no. Leave if the host cannot hold Core Web Vitals or the builder cannot emit a clean document. Most Avada sites need a rebuild of the templates, not a new CMS.

What about Wix or Squarespace?

Fine for a brochure. Weak when you need one job per URL, 301s, and a HIPAA form that does not live in their consumer inbox.

Send the builder you are on

Avada, Elementor, a theme you cannot name. We will tell you rebuild vs skin.

One call. Real numbers. No pressure.
