Hosting and weight - not a new logo
Core Web Vitals for a medical website
A four-second first paint loses the consult before the H1 loads. LCP, INP, and CLS are the names Google uses. We care because patients are on a phone in a parking lot, and because a heavy Avada slider is how a decent URL dies in the field.
What actually moves the numbers
- Image weight and a real LCP image, not a lazy-loaded hero that never becomes the LCP.
- One H1. Page builders that emit four of them also emit four fonts and a slider.
- Host and cache. A 700 permission on a directory can serve the old WordPress homepage instead of the page you deployed. We have lived that.
- Third-party scripts. Reviews widgets, chat, and five pixels will blow INP on mobile.
We do not promise a green PageSpeed score. We stop handing the visit away.
Speed, said plainly
Pretty that takes four seconds is not a website. It is a brochure you mailed too late.
Fix weight and hosting before you buy another theme. If the crawl already shows equity, keep the URLs. See before you redesign.
Send the URL
We will look at weight, host, and whether the builder is the bottleneck.
One call. Real numbers. No pressure.
