The host - not the form, not the pixel
When a medical website host needs a BAA
Inquiry forms belong on a HIPAA host. That job is HIPAA forms. Pixels are analytics and pixels. This page is the box the HTML sits on. If PHI never touches the host, a marketing server is a marketing server. If it does, you need a BAA and a host that will sign one.
How we split it
- Public pages (services, about, the pellet URL) can live on a fast marketing host. myMDHost is the stack we already use.
- The form posts to a HIPAA system with a BAA. It does not land in a consumer inbox.
- Do not upload charts, labs, or ID photos to the marketing host "just for the designer."
- Speed still matters. A BAA does not forgive a four-second LCP. See Core Web Vitals.
Not legal advice. Not a hosting catalog. We will not pretend a cheap shared box is a covered entity.
Send the current host
Where the site lives, where the form posts. We will tell you what is on the wrong box.
